Nowhere / Now Here

/ Concept

A person moving through their own forgetting a journey to understand where fear ends and “I” begins. The film metaphorically depicts the inner restoration of the self after a traumatic experience: not a story in the classical sense, but a visualised process of integration, a return to wholeness. Coma stands for dissociation, the mind switching emotions off to protect itself; the heroine is trapped between past and present, between emotional death and the possibility of feeling life again.

/ Process

I conceived the idea, set the mood and built the visual language through a moodboard — colour palette, light and atmosphere. I styled the looks, took part in casting and directed the models on camera; during filming I coordinated the team and kept the visual integrity of the project, and in the final stage selected the material so the result matched the original idea.
