The breeze of departure
ARC 008EDITORIAL / Milan / 2026
/ Concept
A fleeting moment between arrival and departure, where summer becomes a feeling rather than a season. Carried by the breeze, the body moves freely between presence and absence, intimacy and distance, holding onto fragments of light, warmth, and everything that is about to fade.
/ Process
A stylist for an editorial develops the fashion concept and visual direction before the shoot, researching references and creating mood boards that define the mood, colour palette, silhouettes and styling codes. They select and source clothing, accessories, shoes and props from brands, showrooms, press offices or vintage archives, then organise all samples, prepare look boards and coordinate fittings with the model. During the shoot, the stylist dresses and styles the model, adjusts garments and accessories, steams pieces when needed and works closely with the photographer, creative director and hair and makeup team to ensure every look matches the concept. After the shoot, they check all items against the sample list, pack and prepare the garments for return, organise the returns process and may help select the final images and prepare credits for publication.

An ode to impermanence, to the beauty of leaving, and to the quiet freedom of becoming someone new.
